Hey there! I’m Laney, the proud owner and founder of Mindful Therapy, where we focus on providing a supportive and nurturing environment for individuals seeking personal growth and healing.
I hold the firm belief that mental wellness is rooted in understanding that your worth remains intact, even during messy, challenging times. Life may bring ups and downs, but that doesn’t diminish your inherent value. Sometimes, we need space to rinse, rest, or fix ourselves—nothing wrong with that—and I try to embody that perspective in my work. I try to remind my clients that their value is always present, waiting patiently for them to reconnect with it.
My ideal client is someone who wants to feel more like themselves again—whether that’s feeling calmer, clearer, or more connected to their inner strength. My work is very personalized because I believe everyone’s journey is unique. I offer one-on-one sessions where you can take all the time you need to process, reflect, and grow. My hope is that, by the end of our work together, you’ll feel more at peace, more resilient, and more aligned with who you truly are.
Hi, I’m [Your Name], and I’m a licensed therapist with a passion for helping people reconnect with their true selves in a gentle and steady way. I earned my Master of Social Work from Ohio State University and have been practicing since 2018. Over the years, I’ve come to believe that meaningful change often happens gradually—like small steps building toward something much bigger—and that everyone deserves a calm, supportive space to explore their thoughts and feelings.
My approach to therapy is calm, compassionate, and client-centered. I prioritize listening carefully and meeting you where you are. I don’t believe in rushing the process—rather, I believe in moving at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we explore your thoughts and experiences slowly, gently peeling back layers to discover what truly matters to you. I aim to create a safe space where you feel comfortable enough to be vulnerable, reflect deeply, and find clarity in your own time.
On a personal note…
My personal mantra is: “Even when we feel a little messy, our true value is still there.” It keeps me grounded and reminds me to extend that patience and kindness to my clients as well.
Self-care for me includes cleaning, fixing things, and sewing socks—small practices that bring peace and clarity. I bring the same gentle approach to therapy, moving slowly and supporting you every step of the way. I believe that change isn’t about rushing, but about believing in the possibility of growth, no matter how small.
Your journey to feeling more connected and at peace is unique—and I’d be honored to support you every step of the way.
