Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I am grateful to join you on this journey as part of the Mindful Therapy team.
I have a Master of Social Work (MSW) specializing in military trauma and am a Certified Trauma Practitioner (CTP). My goal is to walk alongside you as you discover your unique path to healing and empowerment. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care. What makes me unique as a provider is that I work with my clients to harness techniques that promote neuroplasticity in their brains to create lasting change.
It is important that I connect with my clients in a genuine and meaningful way. During our first session, we will explore what brings you to therapy. Throughout our time together, I’ll be right beside you every step of the way. To keep the momentum going, I often assign homework that prompts reflection and encourages you to apply what we discuss. I encourage vulnerability and bravery in every session, recognizing that embracing your true self is a crucial step toward growth.
Mental wellness is essential to overall well-being, and I truly believe it looks different for everyone. My approach is all about you and your vision of happiness. I do not believe in aiming for societal expectations. You can expect me to show up as my authentic self in every session. I value open communication and real connections. This genuine approach makes our work much more enjoyable.

On a personal note…
Outside of therapy, I love exploring different cultures. Traveling allows me to meet new people, eat exciting foods, and embrace the beauty of diversity. I’m also a proud nerd who stays updated on the latest therapy and science research.
Self-care is crucial for my well-being. I recharge by spending time in nature or diving into a good book. I encourage my clients to prioritize self-care as well. You deserve peace and tranquility.
One of my standout qualities is my loud and jovial laugh. It is a reflection of my genuine self. I believe everyone is special and has something unique to offer the World. Do not change for anyone.
